Shared Maternity Care

Denmark Family Practice is proud to offer antenatal or shared maternity care.

If you're pregnant and want the benefits of keeping in touch with your regular GP and avoiding unnecessary travel to see your obstetrician, the shared care may be an option for you.

​

Through shared care, your GP can offer continuity of care - before pregnancy, during and after your baby is born. 

​

Denmark Family Practice offers doctors with the the additional qualification of Diploma of Obstetrics training and a special interest in caring for pregnant patients. Your doctor will work collaboratively with your hospital team or private obstetrician to ensure you and your baby are well cared for and are prepared for your birth and parenthood.
