Welcome Dr Andrew Szabo

Dr Szabo will be joining Denmark Family Practice in August. Andrew graduated from university of Western Australia medical school in 2017. Starting off his career with an internship in Albany he has since gained a wealth of experience across regional and remote Australia working in WA, NSW, and throughout the Northern Territory. 2025 sees him return to the great southern with his growing family.

Andrew is finishing his training as rural generalist training with the Australian college of rural and remote medicine (ACRRM). He has an advanced skill in anaesthetics that he regularly practices in Kalgoorlie.

Areas of interest include emergency medicine, mental health, chronic disease, women’s health, men’s health and lifestyle medicine.

Outside of work Andrew enjoys being outside, trail running, hiking, mountain biking and gardening. As well as prioritising time with his family.
